Hi everyone, As you can see from the title: I am inactive. I have been for a long time, but with this journal I wanted to let you know officially. I joined DeviantArt the 22nd of April 2011. I was 16 back then. I was introduced to this site by my twinsister, :devRelax123:. I really liked the website and it quickly became one of my favorite sites to be. I made friends and I learned a lot, not only about art but about life as well. I uploaded many pieces a week and I was loving it. That started to change when I went to school in Belgium instead of The Netherlands. I was staying with my sister and brothers at a boarding school during the week so I uploaded only during the weekends. I was 22 when I finally finished school. A bit late but I got there. That's when the very irregular uploads started. In 2017 I only uploaded 5 pieces: 2 of which were challenges hosted by DeviantArt and 1 was for a contest. Next year I uploaded 2 pieces. Both were things I didn't draw very often at all. It
'Twas the night before Christmas
When all through the site
Ol' Santa was drawing
And had been all night.
His layers were locked
In his drawing software
In hopes that some edits
Soon would be there.
"How to draw hands?"
Searched old Santa Claus.
And flipping the image
Just showed even more flaws.
Poor Santa clicked "Watch"
On DeviantArt.
Half to distract,
Half to inspire a jumpstart.
His elves were all posting
About some new meme.
"Draw This Again!" It exclaimed.
"It'll help your esteem!"
So Santa searched back
On his jolly Profile
To his much-older works,
And began to compile.
A back-to-back look
From one year ago,
Then two, then five.
The DeviantArt #HolidayCardProject returns for its 12th year! The idea behind the Holiday Card Project is simple: do something nice for others. If you're looking for additional incentive, every deviant who mails in a card will be given a free one-month Core Membership as our thank you for participating.

‘Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house,
Not a deviant was clicking
On a touchpad or mouse.
Deviations were packed
In their boxes with care
In hopes re-designers
Soon would be there.
The deviants were nestled
All soft in their Profile
In hopes that a change
Would come soon with style.
They’d heard mysterious stories
From the Betas upstairs,
And they knew something special
Soon would be theirs.
New dark mode, new light mode,
Love Meter, and more!
New backgrounds, Profile headers,
More storage for Core!
One curious deviant,
Sketchbook tight in their grips,
Couldn’t wait one day longer,
They must see E
